The second R 9600 will join the Yellow Iron Fleet, which has been operating at South Walker Creek since early May. The commissioning follows the successful delivery of the first R 9600 to South Walker Creek in September 2024. “Seeing this R 9600 come to life and reach its destination is incredibly rewarding,” Liebherr-Australia Mackay project manager Jamie Marsden said. “The collaboration among our team, our partners and our customers was outstanding, and every person involved went above and beyond.
